In 2000 Carlton Television remade E. Nesbitts' The Railway Children as the main feature for its Easter broadcasting schedule.
The website was designed in house at Carlton Interactive by Senior Designer Alan Benzie and myself and covered large amounts of material relating to the new production, the famous 1960's film
and the life of E. Nesbitt. After the broadcasting of the Carlton production, a live webchat with Jenny Agutter - star of the 1960's film and the new version was setup in conjunction with MSN.
My role was to design
the visual identity of the site in Photoshop which was later expanded on and built by Alan. I also designed the banner adverts which were used
across the Carlton.com websites.
