The
Base Online Festival Mini-site was designed in 2001 to feature the
summer music festival season. The front page featured daily updated
news which was controlled by the Base editorial team via the inhouse
content management system as well as a small flash movie which promoted
the next festival date. The movie was replaced each week as each
festival occured. The content management system allowed teasers
to be changed regularly to promote different areas of the site.
To
find information on each festival an interactive UK map was used,
clicking on each festival brought up the appropriate details. After
each festival the information page was replaced with a review and
a photo gallery of stills taken at the event.
