Using my digital camera I made a short Quicktime movie of myself walking around which I then played back full screen on my pc and re-filmed the movie whilst moving the slider to vary the speed of playback.
I then imported the second movie into Adobe Premiere, selected a short segment and exported it as individual BMP images. The BMP sequence was then imported into Flash, where I knocked out frames leaving only every fifth frame.
Lo-tech but quite spooky.
I further worked on this idea by projecting and filming some old Super-8 reels that I had got from a house clearance warehouse and making some Flash loops but then my cine projector bulb blew and that was the end of that.
