Designer | |
As part of the Carlton design team I have worked on a variety of different projects on an individual basis and in conjunction with other designers. Initially I designed sites supporting Carlton TV programmes such as Peak Practice, Mopatop's Shop and Monsignor Renard before spending a year on Carlton's music property The Base. On The Base I produced daily updates, regular features and mini-sites relating to specific music events such as the Festival season. From the beginning I had great input in the style and design on the site and helped establish the irreverent tone which contributed to the site's success. My responsibilities included:
· Interpreting client briefs to produce websites adhering
to guidelines of particular corporate brands and programme
properties.
· Design and build of websites utilising capabilities
of in-house content management system.
· Regular weekly updates of sites
· Production of banner ads for in house and external
sites.
· Actively contributing ideas on both design and editorial levels during weekly content meetings for The Base.
· Creation of features and mini-sites on a daily basis for The Base.
· Videoing interviews with bands that were streamed from The Base site.
