Rosedale By Moonlight
Previousnext
Little sign remains of Rosedales past other than a few industrial ruins and the flat track of the old railway line which once run around the valley's edge. It is a peaceful place now, a beautiful place of sweeping fields and strange, tree topped, rounded hills. However, perhaps because the past is always with us and has shaped the landscape we see now, I feel drawn to create moonlit images of the dale. This gives it a certain, ghostlike quality, which reflects my feelings for it.
