Carolyn Smith Gallery
Carolyn Smith
My art work has been influenced by a diversity of interests. My fascination with travelling, my studies of ancient history and mythology, and my concern with social and environmental issues. My work is essentially about conveying ideas which stem from these interests. The role of the artist, as I see it, is to present a personal vision of the world. By the act of creating this vision, the artist hopes to reveal a different perspective and to enrich the viewers perspective as well as her own.
