Hello, I'm Jared and I like making things - usually on computers. When I'm not making things on computers I'm usually looking at things other people have made on computers, sometimes I laugh but usually I am slightly jealous and think "grrr, why didn't I think of that".

I am currently living in Melbourne's Western Suburbs which is nice and only a short train ride into the city where I work in an office with few windows and erratic heating/air con. At work I spend my day building and maintaining websites and intranets. These are mostly quite dull.

In my previous life I have worked for Carlton Television, a short stint contracting at Victoria Real in Brighton and a comic shop. I have also worked in a slaughterhouse, a hospital and as a graveyard surveyer but I don't mention them.

I also have also had a not particularly successful career producing Quicktime panoramas for Real Estate agents and a marginally more successful career producing pixel graphic illustrations. Hooray!

In December I am due to become Daddy Jaz when Justine and I have our first baby (Codename Tiddlier), very exciting. So expect even less pixel art.
